Emile Ortega of Johannesburg, South Africa.
This guy right here is without a doubt the friendliest housemate Sydney has to offer. Raised in Sydney after arriving from South Africa at a young age, Emile has gone through various educational courses and now calls himself a structural project draughtsman. When he’s not clambering up unsupported scaffolding, or assessing dangerous cracks in adjacent skyscrapers, he’s gardening with his girlfriend or watching every episode of Doctor Who that has ever been made. On a Wednesday you might find him halfway up a climbing wall, on a Saturday morning you’ll see him serving the interesting folk of the Kings Cross markets, and on Sunday he’ll be repenting his sins (ie avoiding paying his parking tickets) at mass.
